Summer Kickoff Nature Night: Saturday, June 23, 2018, 7PM-9PM

You're invited to the Morton Centre this Saturday for our first Family Nature Event of the summer! We will begin the evening around 7:00pm with a few games, followed by a walk down to the beach to enjoy the sunset and some nature-themed sensory activities to explore the natural world around us. What better way to start your summer than with an opportunity to turn off the phones and devices and get outside with your family? If the weather allows, we'll end the evening with a campfire - complete with s'mores, songs, and stories. This is a free event, and all ages are welcome! What should you bring? Warm clothing, long pants, and singing voices! Optional: blankets/camp chairs, and musical instruments.

Geocaching with Pirates: Saturday, July 7th, 2018, 2PM-4PM

Join us in Lunenburg for an afternoon of treasure hunting fun! We will meet at the Lunenburg Academy at 2:00pm to receive treasure maps, then begin our journey around town to uncover the pirates' lost loot. Feel free to stick with the group or go at your own pace.
Come on out and discover the hidden secrets of your own backyard! If the weather permits, we will end the afternoon with a campfire and s'mores. This is a free event, and all ages are welcome!

If you haven't gone geocaching before, don't worry! We will show you how to get started, and can guide you through the afternoon. If you have a handheld GPS, please bring it along. You can also find multiple free GPS apps to download on your smartphone, but make sure you can enter latitude/longitude coordinates (not just street addresses). If you don't have any compatible devices, we will have some that you can borrow for the afternoon!
